iReminder is a simple to use Reminder app similar to Apples built in Reminders but has some added and much needed features. First of all the interface is extremely easy to use and navigate.

A slick and easy to use User Interface make iReminder a joy to use.

The feature I find myself using time and time again is the “Autosnooze” Feature. The way I use it is basically the most important tasks I set for a LOW amount of autosnooze duration, meaning that I will be constantly reminded about that task over and over again until I mark it as done. This is extremely useful for important task and increases the chances that I will actually remember to do the task.

Autosnooze is a surprisingly useful feature that most reminder applications lack. iReminder has the feature built in.

BTW you can configure the Autosnooze to be default like the picture above in the edit settings menu, or you can specify a snooze duration for each individual reminder which allows you to custom specify reminder priority and importance, very handy.

iReminder also works well with iOS 5′s amazing new notification system. The way you set it up with the notification system is completely up to you, but I prefer the banner layout which will remind you like below:

Star Legends is a successor to Pocket Legends and has several improvements that we think make this game even funner and more addicting.

Star Legends is very similar in play to Pocket Legends but has some good creative improvements.

We mainly liked how the strategy in Star Legends is more improved. For example you can target explosive barrels next to enemies in order to be more effective in combat. Little tweaks like that help flesh the gameplay out, make it more varied and challenging, and overall more fun.

The environment and ambiance in the game is also more engaging which makes the overall gameplay more smooth and fun.

While I don’t think Spacetime has nailed the gameplay completely, I think they are well on their way to creating something absolutely awesome. And Star Legends is an important milestone in that direction.

NOVA or “Near Orbit Vangaurd Alliance” is one of my personal favorite First Person Shooter Games that you can find on the iOS app store for iPhone and iPad and it’s sequel NOVA 2 is a great improvement on the game, it continues the storyline where NOVA 1 left off (it continues 6 years after NOVA 1) and features several incredible new enemies to fight, a myriad of new weapons and some enhanced graphics. Here’s some of the main new features the game includes.

NOVA 2 Includes a myriad of new features including Dual Wield Pistols

• Come back as the mysterious Kal Wardin as the universe erupts into a bloody civil war
• Several new enemies and factions
• An assortment of new weapons, including dual wielded pistols
• Vehicle battles are incorporated into the campaign

• Several new Multiplayer Maps

The Controls in Nova 2 Are Slick and responsive, the Gyroscopic control options are also a nice touch.

The gameplay in NOVA is actually quite fun, albeit akin to a halo iphone game. the controls are slick and responsive and the balance and story-flow in the game are well put together. Another cool feature in Nova is the revolutionary use of built in Gyroscopic controls that let you adjust your players view by tilting the iPhone, while not usable in many situations (say on a bumpy car ride), this feature can make the game really immersive, you can also play the game standing up and it almost becomes like a virtual reality game on your phone.

Looking to play Halo on your iPhone during a boring class? NOVA 2 will do the trick! The game is very similar even down to the storyline, in which you save the universe from the "Ring of Destruction" sounds *ahem* a bit familiar.

It’s quite possible you will find the storyline familiar, throughout the story you are attempting to save the universe from the “Ring of Destruction” or sometimes known as the *ahem* “Halo of destruction”. Despite the games obvious inspiration from the Halo series the game is worth a play, even if you’ve never played Halo before.

There is some excellent vehicle missions in NOVA 2

Another nice addition to NOVA 2 is the neat vehicle based components of the game, while challenging they provide some good variety to the gameplay.

In conclusion i’d say NOVA 2 is an excellent First Person Shooter that will be a surprisingly fun time to play on the iPhone or iPad, worth a buy and a play!

As the mobile gaming industry has been booming there has been several examples of games programmed for a mobile device that have been done in a way that is detrimental to what could have otherwise been an awesome game.

You see the problem is that many iPhone game developers are attempting to make games that were obviously made for a PC or for a console like the Xbox, Wii, etc…    into an iOS or Android app.

Hybrid Eternal Whisper is an example of a game that trys to implement to much of another device into the iPhone

While many of the games listed as examples here are actually pretty fun, they potentially could have been better had they not tried to cram things like virtual control pads or similar types of HUD’s into the games control system.

Zenonia has some great graphics, but the control scheme inspired by another type of handheld console makes the game much more frustrating to play then it needs to be.

There have been of course some forward thinking companies that have been able to create games specifically with mobile gaming in mind. An example of those companies is Chair Entertainment, games like Infinity Blade 2 are extremely immersive due to their creative use of the Mobile medium.

Storyline elements are fairly cliche, and also not extremely engaging. The games innovation and creativity help make up for this.

The Gameplay in Pocket Legends is cleverly thought out, and the interfaces are fairly easy to use. The game is very easy to play, almost to easy. Understandable with the limitations of the iPhone.

In conclusion, Pocket Legends is definitely worth a download and play. Another exciting feature of Pocket Legends is that the game is the first of it’s kind universal app that you can play on virtually any device (your same character). Zenonia was one of the first “Zelda” style RPG games to hit the iPhone Market, the game has some very good ideas and some excellent graphics. If you can get over the somewhat clunky control system then this game is a keeper.

The graphics in Zenonia are nice and vibrant, and very "Zelda-ish" the control system is a bit clunky, and fairly frustrating at times.

This is one of the better Zelda style games on the iPhone but I don’t think anyone’s been able to conquer this widely sought after arena of the mobile game market.
